Nyctiboetus kassini
Taxonomy
Nycteroleter kassini was named by Chudinov (1955). Its type specimen is PIN 161/63, a maxilla (first described as a mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shikhovo-Chirki, PIN 161, which is in an Ufimian/Kazanian deltaic limestone in the Pechishchi Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Nyctiboetus kassini by Ivakhnenko et al. (1997).
