Taxonomy
Skaptotion cossmanni was named by Curry (1982). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tuilerie de Gan (BMNH collection), which is in a Ypresian offshore shelf marl/claystone in the Marnes de Gan Formation of France.
It was recombined as Currylimacina cossmanni by Cahuzac and Janssen (2010).
