Triboloporus was named by Kesling and Paul (1968) [Sepkoski's age data: O Cara-l]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Porocrinidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978), Ausich (1998); and to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002).
