Taxonomy
Nanoparia luckhoffi was named by Broom (1936). Its type specimen is RC 109/L3, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Oudeberg (Pass and Plateau) - Cistecephalus Assemblage Zone, which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial horizon in South Africa.
