Churkites egregius
Taxonomy
Churkites egregius was named by Zharnikova and Okuneva (1990). Its type specimen is CGM 1/10379, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Artyomovka River basin, which is in a Smithian marine horizon in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Churkites.
