Taxonomy
Nautilus parisiensis was named by Deshayes (1865). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Aizy-Jouy (Deshayes collection), which is in a Ypresian marine sandstone in the Sables d'Aizy Formation of France.
It was recombined as Eutrephoceras parisiense by Pacaud (2010).
