Taxonomy
Protactoclymenia giganta was named by Becker and House (2002). Its type specimen is MfN MB.C.3520, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Seheb el Rhassal, orbiculare Bed, which is in a Famennian marine siliciclastic in Morocco.
