Renites kiensis
Taxonomy
Renites kiensis was named by Bogoslovsky (1969). Its type specimen is PIN 1447/234, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kiya River source, bed 7, which is in a Famennian carbonate limestone in Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Renites.
