Taxonomy
Manticoceras eliseevi was named by Bogoslovsky (1958). Its type specimen is PIN 774/96, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gryaznukha Creek, outskirts of Razdolnoye, which is in a Frasnian carbonate limestone in the Russian Federation.
