Carinoceras ljaschenkoae

Taxonomy
Carinoceras ljaschenkoae was named by Bogoslovsky (1969). Its type specimen is PIN 1268/14, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vezha-Vozh River, 7.4 km from mouth, which is in a Frasnian carbonate limestone in the Lyaiol Formation of the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Virginoceras ljaschenkoae by Becker et al. (2000).
