Ponticeras orientale

Taxonomy
Probeloceras orientale was named by Bogoslovsky (1958). Its type specimen is PIN 774/325, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zolotikha River, 400 m east of Goryunovka, which is in a Givetian carbonate limestone in the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Ponticeras orientale by Korn and Klug (2002).
