Chutoceras manticoides
Taxonomy
Chutoceras manticoides was named by Becker and House (2000). Its type specimen is MfN MB.C.2165, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chut River, outcrop 7, unit 5, which is in a Frasnian carbonate limestone in the Domanik Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Chutoceras.
It was recombined as Uchtites manticoides by Korn and Klug (2002).
