Taxonomy
Muensteroceratoides aksuensis was named by Popov (1965). Its type specimen is KP SPbGU 2730/86, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Dzhaprakoceras aksuense by Ebbighausen et al. (2010).
