Taxonomy
Nodopericyclus asiaticus was named by Konovalova (2015). Its type specimen is PIN 5020/93, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Outcrop 497, Kulosya River, which is in a Tournaisian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Sargardon Formation of Uzbekistan.
