Taxonomy
Muensteroceras tianshanicum was named by Librovitch (1927). It is the type species of Dzhaprakoceras.

It was recombined as Dzhaprakoceras tianshanicum by Ebbighausen et al. (2010); it was recombined as Dzhaprakoceras tianshanicus by Konovalova (2015).
