Conotreta rusti

Taxonomy
Conotreta rusti was named by Walcott (1889) [Lectotype designated by Cooper (1956).]. Its type specimen is USNM 18443a, a valve (ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 62B-Tr-108, which is in a Mohawkian carbonate limestone in the Denmark Formation of New York. It is the type species of Conotreta.
