Cyrtonotreta depressa
Taxonomy
Conotreta depressa was named by Cooper (1956). Its type specimen is USNM 1168156e, a valve (pedicle valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 0.2 miles southeast of Pratt Ferry, which is in a Chazyan open shallow subtidal limestone in the Pratt Ferry Formation of Alabama. It is the type species of Cyrtonotreta.
It was recombined as Cyrtonotreta depressa by Holmer (1989), Holmer (2000), Hansen and Holmer (2011).
