Taxonomy
Conotreta hetera was named by Percival (1978). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is L127. Copper Mine Creek, near Cliefden Caves, which is in an Eastonian slope shale/siltstone in the Malongulli Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Hisingerella hetera by Holmer (2000).
