Deccanodon maleriensis
Taxonomy
Deccanodon maleriensis was named by Nath and Yadagiri (2007). Its type specimen is 22/SR/PAL, a tooth (Postcanine tooth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 1 km NNW of Lakshmipuram, which is in a Carnian/Norian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Maleri Formation of India. It is the type species of Deccanodon.
