Taxonomy
Anagaudryceras compressum was named by Shigeta and Nishimura (2014). Its type specimen is HMG-136, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shirafune-no-sawa River, which is in a Maastrichtian marine sandstone in the Hakobuchi Formation of Japan.
