Taxonomy
Carpocrinus chlupaci was named by Prokop (2011). Its type specimen is NMP L 37922, a calyx (isolated calyx with preserved tegmen and the proximal parts of arms), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zlaty Kun Hill, Koneprusy, which is in a Pragian reef, buildup or bioherm grainstone in the Praha Formation of Czechia.
