Taxonomy
Ammonites baborensis was named by Coquand (1880). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Partschiceras baborense by Förster (1975), Kennedy and Klinger (1977), Szives (2007); it was recombined as Phyllopachyceras baborense by Aliev (1958), Collignon (1962), Vasicek et al. (2014), Benzaggagh (2025).
