Taxonomy
Subschloenbachia bispinosa was named by Spath (1921). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Mortoniceras (Deiradoceras) bispinosum by Förster (1975); it was recombined as Hysteroceras bispinosa by Besairie and Collignon (1972), Besairie and Collignon (1972), Novack-Gottshall (2025).
