Taxonomy
Bellidispongia dinarica was named by Chorowicz and Termier (1975). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Svilaja, calcaires clairs, which is in a Fassanian carbonate limestone in Croatia. It is the type species of Bellidispongia.
