Buccinammonites minimus
Taxonomy
Buccinammonites minimus was named by Kennedy and Cobban (1990). Its type specimen is USNM 423770, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic 23062, Five Mile Creek, which is in a Cenomanian marine shale in the Greenhorn Formation of Montana. It is the type species of Buccinammonites.
