Synonyms
  • Conus gaza was named by Johnson and Pilsbry (1911) [DISTRIBUTION: Middle Miocene-Early Pliocene; circum-Caribbean.]. Its type specimen is ANSP 2554, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

    It was recombined as Conus (Leptoconus) multiliratus gaza by Woodring (1928) and Oinomikado (1939); it was synonymized subjectively with Conus multiliratus by Woodring (1970); it was synonymized subjectively with Conus (Dauciconus) multiliratus by Hendricks (2015).
