Taxonomy
Paragastrioceras subwandageense was named by Popow (1957). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sample 115, Inia River, Vesta River, which is in a Kungurian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Baraioceras subwandageense by Kutygin and Biakov (2015).
