Lechriodus casca
Taxonomy
Lechriodus casca was named by Tyler and Godthelp (1993). Its type specimen is QM F24824, a set of postcrania (Ilium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tingamarra Local Fauna - Boat Mountain deposit, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine claystone/sandstone in Australia.
It was recombined as Platyplectrum casca by Farman et al. (2025).
