Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
D. Fillion and R. K. Pickerill 1990Spheroidal, sub-ovate, rarely cordate or elongate,
squat Lockeia, several of which with one end more deeply impressed
than the other, up to 7 mm long, and 4.5 mm wide. Characteristically
preserved as convex hyporeliefs with an evenly
rounded surface; a shallow carinal groove or crest, and a transverse
process are rare. Typically isolated but may be arranged in
curved series. Sectioned specimens reveal a massive burrow-fill
(modified after Pollard 1981 ).
