Taxonomy
Valhallites tuberculatus was named by Niko and Mapes (2016). Its type specimen is AMNH 5638, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is ARC-28, West Black Forest Drive, which is in a Pendleian marine shale in the Fayetteville Formation of Arkansas.
