Lende chiweta
Taxonomy
Lende chiweta was named by Kruger et al. (2015). Its type specimen is MAL 290, a skull (Almost complete skull with lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fossils 'B1', Lower Bone Bed, Chiweta, which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial horizon in the Chiweta Beds Formation of Malawi. It is the type species of Lende.
