Krebsophis thobanus
Taxonomy
Krebsophis thobanus was named by Rage and Werner (1999). Its type specimen is Vb-681, a set of vertebrae (single mid-trunk vertebra), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wadi Abu Hashim, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian lacustrine - large siliciclastic in the Wadi Milk Formation of Sudan.
