Sicanites bactrianus
Taxonomy
Sicanites bactrianus was named by Leonova (1985). Its type specimen is PIN 3591/234, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Igrimiyuz Creek, Sample 13/40, Pamir Mountains, which is in a Kungurian marine horizon in the Kyzyldzhilga Formation of Tajikistan.
