Eocypraea novasumma
Taxonomy
Ovula novasumma was named by Nelson (1925). Its type specimen is UC 30499, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP loc. 3776, Runkle Canyon, which is in a Selandian marine horizon in the Santa Susana Formation of California.
It was recombined as Eocypraea novasumma by Perrilliat (2013), Groves and Squires (2023).
