Taxonomy
Bulbificopsis garza was named by Squires and Saul (2003). Its type specimen is CAS 68652, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS Loc. 28310A - Ortigalita Peak, which is in a Maastrichtian marine sandstone in the Moreno Formation of California. It is the type species of Bulbificopsis.
