Volgoceratoides schilovkensis
Taxonomy
Volgoceratoides schilovkensis was named by Mikhailova and Baraboshkin (2002). Its type specimen is PIN 2478/3390, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shilovka village (volgensis zone, PIN collection), which is in an Aptian marine horizon in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Volgoceratoides.
