Taxonomy
Pseudocypraea dolini was named by Pacaud (2003). Its type specimen is MNHN-DHT R63008, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Le Quoniam near Haravilliers (Pacaud collection), which is in a Bartonian foreshore sandstone in the Sables de Cresnes Formation of France.
