Taxonomy
Eucalycoceras templetonense was named by Cobban (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 400782, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 20314. Woodbine 164, which is in a Cenomanian marine shale in the Woodbine Formation of Texas.
