Neocardioceras densicostatum
Taxonomy
Neocardioceras densicostatum was named by Cobban (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 400832, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic D7410, Eldorado Springs, which is in a Cenomanian marine shale in the Greenhorn Limestone Formation of Colorado.
