Neocardioceras uptonense
Taxonomy
Neocardioceras uptonense was named by Cobban (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 400863, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic D5947, Black Hills, which is in a Cenomanian marine siliciclastic in the Belle Fourche Formation of Wyoming.
