Saxonerpeton geinitzi
Taxonomy
Hylonomus geinitzi was named by Credner (1890). It is not extant. Its type specimen is S.370/a and b, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Konigin-Carola-Schacht, which is in an Asselian fine channel fill shale in the Döhlen Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Saxonerpeton geinitzi by Carroll and Gaskill (1978), Carroll et al. (1998).
