Sparodus validus
Taxonomy
Sparodus validus was named by Fritsch (1876). Its type specimen is CGH 2084, a skull, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Nyrany, which is in a Westphalian D lacustrine coal in the Kladno Formation of Czechia. It is the type species of Sparodus.
