Jetwoodsia apheles

Taxonomy
Cerithium apheles was named by Tenison Woods (1879). Its type specimen is Australian Museum F 1704, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Clifton Bank, which is in a Langhian marine marl in the Port Campbell Limestone Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Jetwoodsia.

It was recombined as Jetwoodsia apheles by Ludbrook (1971).
