J. Gründel and A. Nützel 2012 | The shell is oval to fusiform with a distinctly elevated spire. The whorls have a distinct subsutural ramp which is more or less horizontal and is demarcated from outer whorl face by a distinct concave belt. The last whorl is inflated and convex. Spiral striae (fine furrows) are more or less evenly distributed over the teleoconch whorls. The protoconch is medio- to transaxial (unknown from the type species). |
