Taxonomy
Ubites novaki was named by Korn and Sudar (2016). Its type specimen is MfN MB.C.25639.1, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Milivojevića Kamenjar, block 2012-36, which is in an Asbian carbonate limestone in the Družetić Formation of Serbia.
