Taxonomy
Tibia (Eotibia) llajasensis was named by Clark (1942). Its type specimen is UCLA 34378, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP 7015. Santa Susana, which is in a Thanetian coastal siliciclastic in the Santa Susana Formation of California.
