Taxonomy
Trivellona felixlorenzi was named by Fehse and Grego (2012). Its type specimen is AMS C.468216, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Batesford Quarry, Portland Cement Ltd, which is in a Langhian carbonate claystone/marl in the Fyansford Formation of Australia.
