Taxonomy
Rostellaria astieriana was named by d'Orbigny (1843). It is extant. Its type locality is Ravin de Saint-Martin, Escragnolles, which is in a Barremian marine horizon in France.

It was recombined as Pseudanchura astieriana by Kollmann (2005).
