Taxonomy
Coloceras reticulatum was named by Miller and Owen (1937). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Strip pits south of Collinsville, which is in a Kasimovian marine shale in the Coffeyville Formation of Oklahoma.
It was recombined as Hemiliroceras reticulatum by Niko and Mapes (2016).
