Costhyrella microscopica
Taxonomy
Nematura microscopica was named by Cossmann (1883). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Butte-des-Usages, Cuise-la-Motte (Deshayes collection), which is in a Ypresian carbonate carbonate in the Sables de Pierrefonds Formation of France.
It was recombined as Stenothyra microscopica by Cossmann (1888); it was recombined as Lapparentia microscopica by Lozouet (1985); it was recombined as Stenothyra (Stenothyroides) microscopica by Pacaud (1996); it was recombined as Costhyrella microscopica by Pacaud (1997).
